This term in Year 2 students are learning about the importance of Baptism and how baptism brings people closer to God. They have been talking about baptism with their parents and have brought in pictures and items from their own baptism which they have used to help in their understanding of this sacrament.

Last Wednesday, the CTK Student Leaders went to State Parliament for the Young Leaders forum and afternoon tea. We were accompanied by Mr Hughes and Mrs Walsh.

Over the past 2 weeks, I have continued to be impressed by the efforts and achievements of our children from CTK at, ‘The City of Parramatta Eisteddfod.’

On Wednesday the 22nd of May, the students from Year Four travelled to Kamay Botany Bay, National Park Kurnell as part of our History Project, “First Contacts”.

Students from CTK have begun performing in the Parramatta Eisteddfod 2019 which commenced on 11th May and will continue each weekend till 20th June.

On Tuesday 7th May, 45 students from Christ the King competed in the Diocesan Cross Country with pride and determination. Congratulations to the following five students who qualified for the inter-diocesan carnival, Mackenzie, Brinleigh, Talia, Olivia and Caitlin, while our 12/13 Girls age group won their division.
